Nov 11, 2021 · It Seems to have a rattle about 50% of the time, seems to be furthest back behind the steering wheel, right under the windshield. Over the past two days, just prior to the appointment, the sound disappeared. If I have a passenger in the car, the rattle goes away. Ended up pulling off the dash and laying down a ton of foam. They corrected the issue by installing some sort of buffer material in the fasteners. The hood had to rise slightly to avoid contacting a plastic trim piece. It would involve removing the passenger side door lining and checking all cables/fixings for loose bits.
